Functional Art for Your Plants
Each Monreale Planter is hand thrown from natural clay using traditional artisanal techniques and high-fired at 990° to 1,000° centigrade to aid in frost resistance and durability (see tips in Resources & Care/Warranty section below).
The Terre Ancienne patina features a textured surface with warm, earthy hues and a rough, weathered finish. Reminiscent of aged stone, subtle variations in tone add depth and old world elegance.

🪴 Pro Placement Tip
Terra cotta, earthenware, and the inside of glazed planters are slightly porous to aid plant growth. However, this means care should be taken to protect wood and delicate surfaces. Glazed, sealed terra cotta, or polyethylene saucers are recommended to protect your placement surface. Water-resistant cork mats can also be used as added protection.
