- Advanced wound care dressing made of collagen, sodium alginate, carboxymethylcellulose (CMC), ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA), and silver chloride (AgCl)
- Topically applied wound dressing transforms into a soft gel sheet when in contact with wound exudates
- Maintains a moist wound environment at the wound surface to aid in the formation of granulation tissue and epithelialization
- Facilitates natural wound healing - EDTA and collagen target and deactivate elevated MMP activity
- EDTA in the dressing is intended to help maintain dressing integrity
- Silver chloride in the dressing is an effective antimicrobial intended to prevent colonization of the dressing
- Intended for management of full- and partial-thickness wounds including pressure ulcers, diabetic ulcers, ulcers caused by mixed vascular aetiologies, venous ulcers, donor and graft sites, abrasions, traumatic wounds healing by secondary intention, dehisced surgical wounds, and first- and second-degree burns
- Dressing may be cut to fit the wound size or layered to manage deep wounds
- Dressing change frequency - daily (or possibly up to 7 days depending on wound type)
- Should not be used on third degree burns or on patients with a known allergy or sensitivity to fish-derived collagen, silver, or any other ingredient
- Not Made with Natural Rubber Latex

Timely, helpful, and easy to read
Format: Kindle
It's not often that I read an entire book in one sitting, but Dr Ortlund managed to produce a work that got me to do exactly that.
He touches on the heart of the issue with the vitriol with which Christians often treat each other. As a Roman Catholic that disagrees with the author on many important issues, I found this work to be a breath of fresh air. Christians of all types should take to heart the message of this book and apply its lessons in their daily lives, but especially when evangelizing.
For years, I've recommended three different books when it comes to the topic of communication, and after reading this one, I will be adding it as the fourth to that list. Given how easy it is to read, this is a fantastic book to start with.
